When using Pulp Riot semi-permanent color, the following directions should be followed: shampoo hair, but do not condition before application. If pre-lightening hair, ensure that bleach or toner is completely shampooed out. The haircolor should not be mixed with developer and should be applied directly from the tube to dry hair. It is important to fully saturate the hair, working with 1/2 inch sections to make saturation easier. Leave the color on the hair for 25 to 40 minutes without heat, or longer if desired, and then rinse thoroughly with cool water. It is recommended to avoid shampooing after rinsing.

This semi-permanent direct dye color can be mixed with any other Pulp Riot semi-permanent shade(s) to create a custom color. Deeper shades can fade over 42 washes, while lighter pastels and neons typically fade over 25 to 30 washes.
